At a glance
Amata SP is an urban bar and entertainment space in Pinheiros, São Paulo, shaped around greenery, music and open-air socialising. Its setting incorporates more than 50 species from the Atlantic Forest, creating a leafy contrast to the surrounding city and giving the venue a distinct connection to nature.
The main bar, known as the Deckbar, combines warm amber lighting with an inviting interior and a programme of original mixology. Outside, the deck offers a more relaxed setting for conversation and drinks. The layout makes Amata suitable for evenings that move between seated socialising, cocktails, music and dancing.
Several areas give the venue different moods. The Cave, reached through purple curtains, takes inspiration from amethyst and brings an underground aesthetic through tubular lighting and a pronounced sound system. The Great Garden contains the main dance floor, pairing outdoor music with the surrounding planting. Together, these spaces create a nightlife setting that feels more varied than a single-room bar.
The rooftop is another focal point, with views towards the Instituto Tomie Ohtake and a setting associated with sunset. It offers a more open perspective over the neighbourhood and adds a daytime-to-evening dimension to the venue. The combination of garden, deck and rooftop provides several ways to experience the space, depending on whether the occasion calls for drinks, conversation, music or dancing.
Food forms part of the same natural, inclusive approach. Amata describes its gastronomy as inclusive and based on selected natural ingredients, making the menu a complement to the drinks and entertainment rather than an afterthought. The overall character suits groups of friends and nightlife occasions, particularly for those drawn to outdoor areas, creative cocktails, live or programmed music and a setting with a strong visual identity.
Located on Rua Cunha Gago in Pinheiros, Amata brings together a bar, garden, dance spaces and rooftop in one green urban venue. The mix of open-air areas, atmospheric interiors and natural-ingredient cooking gives each section a different role across an evening.
