Here's our itinerary for this experience: Start the tour in the city of Vila Nova de Gaia, with the vintage van, on a real journey through time. At Serra do Pilar, one of Gaia's most iconic landmarks, you'll have a breathtaking panoramic view of Porto, the River Douro and the bridges that connect the two cities. Take the opportunity to take photos and admire the scenery, because next door and right next to it, there's Jardim do Morro, known for its strategic position to see one of the best sunsets in the city. Right next to these wonderful spots you'll find the upper deck of the Luíz I Bridge, where you can capture the breathtaking view over the Douro. We continue slowly, always with our eyes on the river, to the ruins of the cod factory, where we can appreciate the beauty of the landscape and the imposing sea. Grab your camera and start shooting, there's no shortage of reasons to do so. Calmly we make our way to the Chapel of Senhor da Pedra, located in Valadares, where we can see a unique construction built into a rock. Afterwards, we head to the Douro Marina, where we'll begin the second part of your visit, which is no less fun. The tour starts at the Douro Marina in beautiful Afurada and takes you to the historic area of Porto, sailing under the Dom Luís I Bridge and past the famous Port wine cellars. The cruise offers a unique perspective of the city, with its colorful houses, historic churches and the city's most important bridges: Ponte da Arrábida and Ponte Luiz I. Here we will take a closer look at the Luiz I Bridge, with its majestic beauty and architecture, and the lovely Porto river. Our crew will make a point of sharing some stories about the city, as well as some historical elements. Take your time savoring the drink that our team will prepare for you. We head for Foz do Douro where the river flows into the sea. See the Douro estuary and the beautiful promenade with the Felgueiras Lighthouse on the horizon. If there are navigable conditions, we always enter the sea. And believe me, the entrance to the Atlantic is stunning.
