Description

After meeting with your tour guide, head to Porto's historical center where you will take a walking tour to see the most iconic and photographed sights in the city. This includes: the Nasoni Tower and the Cathedral, one of the oldest monuments in the city. Then, get the chance to enjoy a wine tasting of three wines as an introduction to Douro Valley fantastic wines. Pair your tasting with samples of honey and olive oil from their own production. After, discover the city's magic from the water, on a 50 minute cruise. The tour is conducted in a Rabelo boat, a typically Portuguese boat found on the Douro River. The boats traditionally carried port wine casks from the vineyards at Alto Douro to Vila Nova de Gaia Porto, where the wine was stored and later sold or shipped to other countries.
