Paulistanos love their Arab immigrants who are primarily Lebanese or Syrian. Mainly because they're lovely people. But secondly because both their food is so incredible!
The pita and kebab places will have sandwiches similar to Lebanese shawarma or taouk, and of course hommus, baba ganoush, and lebnah (called coalha seca here), and esfihas which are very popular here. But there are also many small restaurants that are more authentic and will have your home made mezzahs and raw kibe!
