08:30 am - 10:00 am – Pick-up to be arranged at the hotel or place of accommodation of guests on the island of São Miguel. - Pico do Carvão viewpoint with panoramic view over the island, with stop (5 min.); - Vista do Rei viewpoint with stop (10 min); - Center of the Parish of Sete Cidades for 15/30 minutes rest, walk, coffee, toilets and optional visit to the neo-Gothic style Church of São Nicolau; - Sete Cidades arches bridge and explanation of its history and relevance to the parish with stop (10 min); - Trail surrounding the Blue Lake and peninsula, including a stop to explain the Tunnel, its relevance, technical features and history (10 min); - Cerrado das Freiras and Lagoa de Santiago viewpoint with stop (5 min); - Lomba do Vasco Viewpoint with stop (5 min); - Ponta do Escalvado Viewpoint with stop (5 min); - Rocha da Relva Viewpoint with stop (5 min). 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm - Time for Lunch at a restaurant to be booked (1h30min). - Pico da Barrosa with stop (10 min); - Lagoa do Fogo viewpoints with stop (5 min); Optional: - Salto do Cabrito waterfall with stop (45 min) (Requires walking); Or - Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande (Hot wells & Springs) passing through the Ribeira Grande streams with stop (15 min). 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm - End and return with drop-off at the same pick-up locations. The promoter and main Guide, graduated in Tourism by the University of the Azores, native, several languages interpreter and with knowledge about different cultures and nations worldwide, with vast experience in the Hotel and Tourism sectors since 2001, driver licensed since 2002, with plenty of experience in all terrain vehicles and vast knowledgeable of the island's roads, corners, trails, secondary and agricultural paths intends to provide the client with added value for his money through special & memorable moments, always with maximum courtesy, safety, empathy, education and good manners, with the demonstration of the local culture, customs and traditions, history, fauna and flora and awareness of sustainability throughout the duration of the tours.
