Description

In this experience, you will visit the unparalleled DOURO VALLEY, the first-denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO. The day starts at our meeting point, and we will head to the Valley. For the drive we will do a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with all the astonishing viewpoints of the valley and where we have the first stop, a small winery from a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region), olive oil, and other local products. After the first winery, we will have a traditional lunch in a local and very traditional restaurant. Vegan and Vegetarian options will be available and any other food restrictions will be satisfied. After lunch, we will stop in Pinhão, a true fairytale village, right in the heart of the Douro valley, for a 1-hour Boat Tour along the Douro River. After Pinhão and this boat ride, we will continue our journey in the Douro Valley, driving through the N222, considered one of the most beautiful in the world, and visit a second winery for a last visit and more tastings. Return to Porto will be around 6:00 PM.
